As you can gather from my last post, Eureka Springs is one of my favorite places to visit.  I found a really cool piece in The Eclectic Edge.  I am not sure the artist name, but he used copper sheets as the canvas and a blow torch as the medium.  The shop had a dragonfly piece…very beautiful and cool.  Didn’t buy it as we are still trying to figure out if we are going to actually get to buy the little cottage.

A couple of shops, 3 actually, carry Life is Good stuff…baby/kids, men and women and a new yoga line I haven’t seen before.  Terry got a new t-shirt!  Also like the Peace Frogs shop.

Mandy found an awesome tin ceiling panel mounted like a piece of canvas, then a cross fixed to the front.  Not sure of the shop name but it is across from the trolley station at the bottom of the hill.

It was a good time!

Now that the family has been successfully reunited, we took a trip, invited the kids and parents.  Our destination, Eureka Springs.  Terry, his dad and I drove up Friday afternoon, my kids and kids-in-laws also drove up Friday.  My parents and aunt had been in town for most of the week so they didn’t drive at all on Friday!

We had rented a very lovely house for the weekend, Home Suite Home, if you want to look at it.  All of the Friday arrivers stayed there.  The rest of the crew in Bella Vista.  The house was really perfect for several couples sharing as we each had some private space and then communal areas as well.  Eureka Springs was wonderful as usual…fun, funky little shops, great art, neat people.  All in all, a relaxing and much needed get away.
